Tomorrow is Prizegiving at 6.30pm in the Hall. Dress in cool clothing as it is terribly hot there in the day and so in the evening it willl be an inferno.




Year 6 Leavers BBQ

Dear Parents of Year 6 Children,

It is a fun tradition at NPS that we have a BBQ get together for our leaving Year 6 children and their families.

When: Monday 11 December
Time: 5.30pm – 7.00pm
What to bring:  Your own picnic dinner and drinks, water pistols, water balloons…
Who can come: Year 6 children and family

We will provide a BBQ sausage for each person attending and there will be some soft drinks and water available.

Our Year 6 children will all receive a ‘Leaving’ certificate and a small gift at this celebration to acknowledge their time at Northcote Primary School.

No doubt you will have heard about pool parties, "Go home, Stay Home" , Hampsterball, dodgeball and games such as "Wink murder," "Beat master,""Honey, if you love me then give me a kiss", and 2 truths and a lie". Rapare 22 Poutu-te-rangi Wednesday 22 March Thanks to all the families that came to family fun night. There was a great turn out and even though the races we had planned never happened, everyone had a great time or so it seemed! The egg throwing was fun. There were some amazing "soft" catching hands. The first prize easter eggs were won by these super Dads. Thanks to the FONS group who planned and made burgers, cooked sausages, did baking and set up. Without you fantastic people our school would not have the same community support and wonderful feeling. We finished, added a simile, read to ourselves, did improvement writing and some of us conferenced with Mrs Dixon. For heaps of us our next steps is becoming accurate with our capitals for names and places AND after a full stop! James hard at work.
