Rahina 26 Pipiri Monday 26 June Wednesday choir is out. Cars are taking the children to the venue. Cross country is Thursday weather and Council permitting. Year 6 girls are playing netball on the same day. Last week on Friday we discussed Charlie's playdate. It was held on Saturday to make a sharp point that w are an inclusive community and that people of all types, abilities, ages, stages, colours and religions are part of our North Shore community. Sunny, Aaliyah, Sia attended to show their support for this family. What a wonderful example of people caring about others. Here they are with Charlie. Today we followed verbal instructions and used our memory to make slime. For no reason at all some worked so well, and others were a down and out failure. We showed perseverance and tried again. Ramere 23 Pipiri Friday 23 June Hi, Yesterday I was away with a tooth that had split in half and so the class had Mrs Shong come in, thanks. Today was our last day of touch. thanks Sam. Next Tuesday I will be out with the Ripper teams. Mr Jukes will be here in Room 11. Thursday is a clash. The Year 6 girls netball and the cross country. The order of events will be Year 3,4,5,6 boys then girls. Girls who choses to run will be back to Onepoto in time to run the last event of the day, the Girls Cross country race. If the cross country is off a message will be put on the school answer phone. Thanks to Olivia's mum, Adam's mumand pippa's mum who will walk Room 11 down to Onepoto. You are stars! We did our Information Report on a famous person and have started conferencing with me. They used my model on a famous NZ hockey player and a chart to help them sort and categories the facts. They are getting more skilled at skimming and scanning as well as categorizing in...

Raapa 21 pipiri Tuesday 21 June Cross Country Thursday 29 June  sava 30 June Rippa is off tomorrow as the forecast is too bad and we don't want to cause any more illnesses than we have already. It will be next week. Don't forget to ensure your child visits the Mathletics site and practices their maths! James enjoying his dart hitting Spike. Testing in class, dangerous! Our 2 darts. One modified from Samantha's model and one of our our creation. Which will fly the best? James came 1st in the flying competition. Ralph's dart was the best trickster and loped the loop as well as flew a long way! Dom made a round dart! It flew so well. we had to present Kauri assembly.
