Lotte de Groot came in with her chicken "Batman" and her 2 chicks. They were so gorgeous though Mum was a bit stressed that her babies were being touched by so many eager hands.

We have started our Personal page for the year book. This is to be completed at home as we only have 6 computers for 31 kids.

Prize giving is this Thursday at 6.30pm in the Hall.
We are practicing for it.



Emma got 126 points and achieved Merit in her Grade 3 Music Exam. We are proud of you!


Eva won the all round competitor for Grade 2 in Gymnastics. We are proud of you too!


Hayley got advanced in her level 1 swimming. We are proud of you as well. What a talented lot we are in Room 11!

Ramere 15 Hakihea Friday 15 December What a last fun week we have had. No doubt you will have heard about pool parties, "Go home, Stay Home" , Hampsterball, dodgeball and games such as "Wink murder," "Beat master,""Honey, if you love me then give me a kiss", and 2 truths and a lie". It has been a lovely week to enjoy each others company and have that end of school "feel good" factor. I've loved seeing past pupils and sharing your lovely children. Raapa 17 Haratua Wednesday 17 May Sorry, there was no blog yesterday we had a very long and involved Professional development Team Meeting on "Learner Qualities" with Kate de Groot. Raapa 2 Here-turi-koka Wednesday 2 August Today yoyos appeared at school. They are a great thing to teach the NED concept. Never give up, encourage others to stick at it and be determined to do your best. Spike bought in a different way to achieve these concepts. He is egg sitting "Jimmy". Emma read out her "Mysterious egg" story. Thanks Benji for holding it so she could use voices to explain who each character was. It was rated as a great narrative! Well done Emma! Reading today was "making connections" between two different texts. We had Mrs McKenzie come and watch us learn. We were stunning of course!
